Hey Everyone and Welcome!

I’m Nathan Speer, from San Antonio, TX and I have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since 2019. I currently have a full time job and I was a licensed vet tech for nearly 17 years and loved every minute of it. I love all animals and I’ve worked with them all from the little bugs, slugs and bats to the dogs, cats , horses and elephants. When I am not crafting or working I’m spending time with family or reading. I have 4 chihuahuas and 5 cats, not counting the feral cats or rescues that come and go.

Most of my family have been crafters who were either sewing, knitting, painting, or cake decorating. I learned a lot from them though I wish I would have been able to learn more. In addition to Stamping, I enjoy theatrical makeup, papercrafting, painting, scrapbooking and using my Cricut machine. Using my Cricut has been so much fun and it’s been a learning process incorporating my Cricut with my Stampin’ Up! projects.
Anyone who knows me will tell you my favorite holiday to craft for is Halloween and fall, but that is not the only reason. Halloween is a very special time for my family as is Dia De Los Muertos. It’s a happy time of the year for us, and we take time to reflect, celebrating those who are no longer here with us. Of course I do love Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Fiesta week, and the rest. Fiesta is a San Antonio celebration that occurs every April. It’s a huge celebration which is basically an 11-day event that I highly suggest you google search.

I love the Stampin’ Up! community and the friends I’ve made with the best teams, The Sweet Stampede and The Simply Sweet Stampers. All the ladies, and the other gentleman on the team, have been so welcoming and their friendships were something I never expected. Last year I also became part of a monthly PDF tutorial group, Sweet Stampin Friends made up of my demonstrator friends i’ve met along the way.

I honestly had not heard of Stampin UP until my mother invited me to a Card Class with my direct upline and now dear friend, Debra Harrison. I enjoyed the first class, went back for more and finally joined as demo for the discount after a few months!

I later decided to start Create with Nate Designs for the simple fact that I saw the impact crafting had on people and the happiness it brought them. People also wanted to learn but I often would hear “I’m not creative and people are not patient with me”. What is most important for me is for you to Be Yourself! Crafting is suppose to be fun, a time to be you. I truly enjoy helping bring out your creativity to finish that special project.
Thanks for Stopping by and feel free to reach out if you need anything email is the best way! Now, Craft for your life!
